On Saturday 11 November, over 100 future residents of Clearstate's new Alex Avenue community gathered for a long-table lunch down the main street of the development in Schofields.
With the warm spring sun shining and music from the Cope Street Parade Duo playing, future residents enjoyed a fun-filled event packed with activities for all the family.
Children enjoyed a jumping castle, face painting and balloon artistry from Kozi and Pinky and a colouring-in competition run by Clearstate staff.
Blacktown City Councilor Moninder Singh and Lesley Studans, the Principal of local Schofield Public School wandered the crowd meeting new residents.
The Clearstate team cooked up an Aussie barbecue for all the guests, with drinks sponsored by the local Australian Brewery.
Food waste charity OzHarvest also attended to educate residents putting to use left-over food and Clearstate donated $500 to their worthy cause.
Blacktown Cricket Club hosted a game of backyard cricket on site that was enjoyed by mums, dads, kids and the Clearstate team.
Clearstate General Manager, Mr. Steve Barlow said the event was a wonderful success and typified the type of community the company strives to create.

The 60-lot project has now completed civil construction and many new residents are already starting to build their future homes.
